Q. What language pairs can you translate?
A. Our specialty is in English <> Japanese but we also provide translations for English into Chinese (Mainland, Taiwan and Hong Kong), Korean and Southeast Asian languages such as Indonesian, Malay, Thai and Vietnamese.
Q. Who does the actual translation work?
A. All translation and related projects are completed by linguists who are qualified and are native speakers of the target language. All of our linguists have passed our strict translation test and are selected carefully to complete a task according to their specialty and abilities.
Q. What are your rates?
A. We offer competitive and reasonable prices lower than most language vendors because in many instances we can leverage proprietary terminology and translation methods. In addition, we employ an in-house review process that reduces overhead costs.
Q. How do you calculate the price?
A. For translation requests, in general our quote is based on the number of source words (For English source) or number of characters (for Japanese source). This gives you a rough guideline for the total cost. Payment according to the number of words/characters in the translated material is also possible.
Q. What payment methods are accepted?
A. Bank transfer, Paypal, Skrill
Q. Can I receive a discount?
A. Discounts are possible depending on the content and schedule. Rates are rated according to translation memory match rates (fuzzy matches, repetitions, MT) when a CAT tool is used. Volume discounts are possible for large scale projects. In addition, discounts are possible for non-profit organizations.
Q. Who are your clients?
A. We work mainly with translation agencies and a lot of our end clients are world renowned companies. We also serve individual clients. Please freely contact us through our inquiry form. We provide quotes at no charge.
